The Gospel

Forty-two years ago today, while I was living out in Washington, D.C., a dear brother in Christ invited me out to lunch; this was after a Sunday worship service at the church we had both started to attend a few weeks before. A hour or so later, we prayed together on a park bench, and I was born anew in Christ. Praise the Lord!

Whenever I consider that day, and how the Lord has kept me since then, I am always so thankful to the Lord for His super-abundant mercy upon me.

Years ago I wrote down a brief testimony of my salvation experience and published it as a pamphlet; you can read that online, here:

“My Faith, then His.”

Later I also recorded a video where I share about that experience; to watch that, click on the image at at the top of this post.

The subtitle to the pamphlet pretty much sums it all up:

I sought for the meaning of life in politics, until I found it in Christ Himself.

Again I would say, thank the Lord for His mercy and grace!

In Him, your brother,

David

P.S.: I did not do a good job of filming the video at all, so I look pretty weird in it I think, but if you can put up with that you may still find it helpful.
