In the entire Bible, no other portion of Scripture gives us such a clear view of how we can pursue, gain, be found in, and ultimately come to know, Christ, as does Philippians 3:7-11. What a wonderful portion of the word this is! Every believer who seeks to know Christ must spend a good deal of time in these verses, praying over them and considering what they show us concerning the matter of pursuing Christ.

As we do that, we will see that while the matter of knowing Christ is always something mysterious, there are nonetheless certain principles we must keep, and certain stages we must pass through, on our journey to gain Him and know Him. And that is what we consider in this series of messages on Philippians 3.
